OVERVIEW

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Coupe is powered by an LS3 6.2-liter V8 backed by a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, a tilt steering column, bucket seats, a center console, a digital Pioneer AM/FM stereo, a Vintage Air climate control system, Dakota Digital analog gauges, an AccuAir adjustable air suspension, and Baer and Wilwood power disc brakes. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The body has been refinished in a two-tone of silver over white. Features include chrome bumpers, Impala side trim, dual rearview mirrors, dual rear antennas, SS emblems, and rear body trim. The selling dealer states that some minor blemishes are present; those can be seen in the gallery to the right.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 22” x 9” front and 22” x 10” rear US Mags Bastille wheels is wrapped in low-profile radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with reupholstered black vinyl front bucket seats and a matching reupholstered rear seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a Vintage Air climate control system, a tilt steering column, an AccuAir e-Level air suspension controller, and a digital Pioneer AM/FM stereo with two eight-inch subwoofers and a Linear Power amplifier. The trunk is fully upholstered to match the interior.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of Dakota Digital analog instruments that includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 1,048 miles, which reflects the mileage on the exterior and interior updates and the engine and transmission. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by an LS3 6.2-liter V8 and backed by a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission, both of which were new when installed. Engine bay features include a shaved firewall, an LS engine cover, a polished aluminum air intake tube, upgraded electric windshield wipers, and a dual-circuit brake master cylinder with a power booster.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Impala was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. An AccuAir adjustable air suspension has been installed. Braking is provided by power Baer front and Wilwood rear discs.
