OVERVIEW
This 1954 Ford F-100 Panel truck was modified and updated under previous ownership and is powered by a Y-block Ford V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a heater, electric power steering, a 12-volt electrical system conversion, and a Classic Performance Products (CPP) dual-circuit power brake system with front discs. Finished in matte yellow over a beige cloth interior, this F-100 comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the modification and update process completed in 2019, the reportedly rust-free body was finished in matte yellow. Features include ribbed polished aluminum bumpers, a body-color grille, dual rearview mirrors, custom accent logos, and dual rear cargo doors.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of body-color 15-inch steel wheels with chrome dog dish hubcaps is wrapped in 235/75 Cooper Trendsetter SE radial tires that were installed in 2022.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with tan cloth front bucket seats surrounded by body-color metal trim. Features include manual windows, an electric power steering system, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, a heater, black rubber floor covering, and a rear-mounted wood slat cargo divider.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 90-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 85,517 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The original I6 engine has been replaced with Y-block Ford V8, which is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The electrical system has been converted to a 12-volt setup. An oil change was completed in 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This F-100 was factory-equipped with a solid I-beam front axle and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by an updated dual-circuit CPP power brake system with front discs and rear drums.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The VIN is consistent with a 1954 F-100 equipped with an I6 engine. According to the seller, they cannot locate a VIN plate or stamp on the vehicle. The videos below show the exterior, interior, and engine bay as well as the engine running.

@JeffroB – can we get a driving video, showing the vehicle going through the gears smoothly, power steering operating, firm braking, engine not overheating? and what's the furthest you have driven the vehicle . . is it likely to be up to a 400 mile commute once a month from LA to Sacramento? ...
I will see about the video. I drove it apprx 200 miles to a car show in hot weather, it stayed cool & ran good.
@TopCat55 – How does the truck drive? Is it a hard drive or something that’s an easy cruise? How about the graphics? ...
It drives like a older truck, not like a modern day car, it has power steering/brakes, etc. Graphics are painted, can be repainted.
@Balboa60 – Is the car registered in California, Do you have a California Certificate of Title with the VIN numbers shown in your ad. I am about a one hour drive from Salinas I also am not sure how to get a private message to you I will work on that Thanks ...
