OVERVIEW
This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino received a body-off restoration that involved the body being repainted and the frame getting powder-coated. It is powered by a 468cid big-block V8 equipped with a FiTech fuel injection system and backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a big-block hood, a spray-in bed liner, bucket seats, a center console, power steering, Dakota Digital analog gauges, and Hydroboost power disc brakes. Finished in Copper Metallic Orange over a black vinyl and cloth interior, this El Camino comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
Originally finished in Sierra Fawn (code S), the rust-free body was repainted Copper Orange Metallic during the restoration. Features include chrome bumpers, a big-block hood, a driver-side rearview mirror, a black spray-in bed liner, and tailgate trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 18-inch front and 20-inch rear Billet Specialties polished aluminum wheels is wrapped in new Pirelli front and Fortune rear radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is furnished with new black vinyl and cloth bucket seats surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a three-spoke aluminum steering wheel with a wood rim, a center console-mounted automatic shifter, and a FiTech fuel injection system controller.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A set of Dakota Digital analog gauges that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 0.4 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 454cid V8 that has been bored .060 over into a 468cid V8 and is backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include polished aluminum valve covers, a FiTech fuel injection system, a chrome air cleaner housing, an aluminum water pump, tube exhaust headers, polished aluminum hood hinges, a polished aluminum serpentine belt engine accessory drive system, and a polished aluminum radiator. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This El Camino is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by a Hydroboost Wilwood master cylinder and power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.

Why does the hood have a big gap on the passenger side at the hing location ? Also does the paint have scratches on the sides and elsewhere chips or dinga ?
