This 1962 Corvair Monza 110 underwent a recent body-on mechanical restoration by Corvair specialists and comes finished in red over a matching red interior. Power comes from the rebuilt original 2.4-liter flat-six paired with a refreshed 4-speed manual transmission, both of which have seen 839 miles since the work was completed. This Monza 110 is offered with over $11,500 in receipts for all work performed since 2017, a waterproof cover, a spare set of doors and parts, and a clean Nevada title.
Restoration work was commissioned to Corvair experts Marty Katz and Mike Biron out of their shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. The car is finished in red with white stripes running across the hood and trunk lid. Brightwork includes chrome bumpers, rockers, and polished window trim.
A set of four-lug 15"x7" AMR slotted mag wheels are wrapped in 195/60 Sentury Touring tires.
The refurbished interior is trimmed in red vinyl with matching carpet and door panels. Features include a red steering wheel, custom console with two cup holders fitted over the transmission tunnel, and a new dash cover. A set of solid red door panels are included in the sale.
Instrumentation consists of a horizontal 100-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge, all surrounded by a patterned aluminum bezel. The factory AM radio remains.
839 miles have been added to the 2.4-liter flat-six, which was freshened at Clark's Corvair with rebuilt carburetors and all new seals. The rebuilt 4-speed manual benefits from a new clutch assembly and flywheel, and the fuel tank was replaced.
Pre-restoration photos, an extra set of doors, a fitted waterproof cover, miscellaneous spare parts, and refurbishment receipts will go with the car.
