@TopCat55 – Just wondering how it goes down the road? Does it drive like a VW bug? Can you drive it on the freeways? ...
It runs very nicely. There’s a little play in the steering but not too much. When I bought the car I took it for a test drive on the freeway for about 20 minutes - no problem at 60 or 70. This was before the new 1776 engine and before the safety tubing, about 300 pounds worth, was added. So the car now runs better, and is safer than ever. Oh, and much more fun than a VW bug.

@TopCat55 – Just wondering if a guy 6’4” would have a hard time getting in and out or even fit? That car is so cool. So it’s licensed as a 2017? Thanks ...
TopCat55 Sorry for the late response. Honestly I think at 6’4” you might find this a tight fit. On another note - I’m glad you asked the question about what year the car is considered. When I bought the car I saw that the registration said 1969 - turns out the frame was from a ‘69 model although I have no idea what the original car was.
