OVERVIEW
This 1992 Chevrolet S-10 Maxi-Cab received several custom features, including body modifications, Intro wheels, an upgraded sound system, and an air suspension, as part of a full rebuild. It is powered by a rebuilt 4.3-liter V6 backed by a rebuilt four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a tilt steering column, power steering, a double-DIN AM/FM stereo head unit, and power four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in burnt orange over a gray tweed cloth interior, this two-wheel-drive S-10 comes from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body has been refinished in burnt orange from the DuPont Hot Hues collection. Features include a black front spoiler, a shaved body-color front bumper, a body-color grille shell with billet aluminum inserts, a shaved upper body line, a smooth cowl panel, body-color mirror housings, 2005 Chevrolet door handles, shaved roof seams, a shaved fuel door, a short bed, a modified bed floor with a black spray-in bedliner, and a rear roll pan with custom flame-style taillights. The tailgate handle has also been shaved and moved to the inside of the tailgate. A walk around-video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of five-spoke Intro aluminum wheels is wrapped in low-profile radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with gray tweed cloth bucket seats surrounded by gray tweed cloth door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, smooth body-color dashboard accents, flame-style metal pedals, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a polished flame-style billet aluminum steering wheel with a black grip, a black center console, a hard-wired air suspension controller, a double-DIN AM/FM stereo head unit, and a rear-mounted body-color TREO Engineering subwoofer enclosure.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for the oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and coolant temperature. Auxiliary gauges have been mounted to the driver-side A-pillar and below the instrument panel. The odometer was not zeroed out during the rebuild process and reads 209,612 miles. The last reported mileage of 173,098 was logged on the CARFAX report in March 2005. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt 4.3-liter V6 and backed by a rebuilt four-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an Edelbrock camshaft, a body-color intake manifold, a polished aluminum oval air cleaner housing, body-color hardware accents, custom smooth inner fenders with flame graphics, and an Optima Yellowtop battery. The factory air conditioning system is inoperative because several of the components have been removed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This S-10 is equipped with an independent front suspension, a solid rear drive axle, and a four-wheel adjustable air ride system. Braking is provided by power four-wheel disc brakes. The dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear axle.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report starts in August 1992 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Illinois. The selling dealer charges a $500 documentation fee in addition to the selling price of the vehicle.

@hdavid – Any engine work done at rebuild ...
It was rebuilt along with the tranny. When it was redone, a healthy cam was put in, which makes it sound amazing!
