OVERVIEW
This 1932 Ford roadster build was completed approximately four years ago and is powered by a 1946-1948 Ford 239cid flathead V8 backed by a 1946 Ford three-speed manual transmission. Features include an N&N fiberglass body, commercial headlights, a heater, a Pete and Jake’s frame with a chrome dropped front axle, and 1940 Ford hydraulic manual brakes. Finished in matte black with accent pinstriping and equipped with a tan canvas removable top over a dark red vinyl interior, this Ford comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the build process, the N&N fiberglass body was finished in matte black with accent pinstriping and equipped with a custom-made tan canvas removable top with a zip-out back window. Features include commercial headlights with a cut-down headlight bar, an amber front fog light, a steel radiator shell with a red insert, a steel hood with 64 louvers and leather retainer straps, a chopped chrome windshield frame, shortened rearview mirrors, and 1939 Ford taillights.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of red 16-inch steel wheels with chrome Mercury dog dish hubcaps is wrapped in 5.50R16 front and 7.50R16 rear Excelsior Stahl Sport radial tires. According to the seller, the tires have accrued less than 1,500 miles.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with a dark red vinyl bench seat surrounded by dark red vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual steering, a sprint car-style four-spoke steering wheel with a black grip, a floor-mounted chrome manual transmission shifter with a custom knob, and a heater with a two-speed fan. The trunk is upholstered to match the interior and houses a battery box.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A set of VDO gauges that includes a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, and other systems is located ahead of the driver. An AutoMeter 7,000-rpm tachometer is mounted to the steering column. The odometer reads 16,750 miles, which indicates the miles accrued since the build was finished.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
