The L36 is a great motor, don’t have overheating with plenty of power. Low maintenance with the one carb and hydraulic lifters, very reliable. 427/390 the perfect big block. No valves to adjust no tri-power carbs. Plenty of power and 460 lbs-ft of torque to move you along. My buddy has the tri-power, always has issues adjusting the carbs and getting the car right. The L36 is the big block you want.
