This 1977 Dodge Aspen wagon shows approximately 67k miles and has undergone a mechanical refreshment under current ownership. Power is supplied by a 225ci slant-6 equipped with the “Super-Six” 2-barrel carburetor option, and it is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent work has consisted of a new fuel tank and filter, air filter, oil and filter, belts, ignition wires, spark plugs, and a carburetor rebuild. This Aspen is offered with the original owner's manual, maintenance receipts, a recent New York inspection, and a clear New York title in the seller's name.
The light brown finish is reported to be original, with only minor blemishes, as are the roof rack and chrome bumpers. All latches handles, and windows are in proper working order per the seller.
15" steel wheels wear chrome covers and are wrapped in a set of mixed-brand tires. The car retains its factory suspension and braking setup.
An unrestored tan and beige interior comes complete with working heat, rear lap belts, manual crank windows, and a forward-facing, folding rear bench. Two small holes in the front seat upholstery are noted, photos can be seen in the gallery.
Additional equipment includes the original AM radio and functional 2-speed wipers. The odometer shows just over 67k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The 225ci slant-6 is equipped with the optional “Super-Six” 2-barrel carburetor upgrade, and it sends power through a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The carburetors were rebuilt during a recent tune-up, which also included a new air filter, belts, ignition wires, spark plugs, and an oil change.
A new fuel tank and fuel filter have been installed. Additional undercarriage photos are available in the gallery.
The original owner's manual and receipts of work performed in November 2020 are included with the sale.
