Hello and good morning Booberry. I didn’t answer your inquiry at 3 AM because sometimes my wife gets a little upset when I wake up to answer texts in the middle of the night. Lol. Therefore I left early this morning to come into the office to reply to your questions. So to answer your question, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this 1967 Corvette convertible with the big block and tri-power. It is a stunning automobile and has been scoured up and down by experts, who know everything about these cars. The way some of these auctions go, some people place very low bids at the beginning of the auctions and then towards the end of the auctions the prices start to increase rapidly. Sometimes people put unrealistic bids, knowing that the vehicle will not be sold for that price. You are correct in that the vehicle should be more than double or triple what you have stated. We’ll see as the bid goes along as we still have several days left. If the reserve is not met, obviously I will not be selling this very desirable automobile. It will stay right in the showroom and stay in the collection.
Why is this vehicle ,with the powerful drivetrain alone,priced so low....????...what is wrong with it ,issues ???? ,Body damage, engine problems, convertible top problems, electrical issues ,...even with Manuel windows, steering, brakes, ....shouldn't bring price down too much....with what is offered ,bids should be around $70 -80,000 or more... Depends upon ur asking price ....???? Reserve??
@Zippie – NCRS? BLOOMINGTON GOLD ? ...
Zippie, with all due respect, you are probably better off getting the reports yourself and doing your own due diligence. It is a numbers matching, big block, tri-power 1967 Corvette convertible that had been verified. I don't want to give anybody any wrong information about any of the vehicles I am selling. The car is on display in my showroom and is available for viewing at any time with the proper notice. I am not trying to be evasive, I just don't want to give any information that is inaccurate. Thanks.
