Correct on the paint. Before selling I had all chips professionally touched up and the car wet sanded and polished. Car retains its original paint.
Just to clarify, those are not paint chips on wheel well edges? Paint Is intact? Thank you!
@Andyreid, I appreciate the information. Always more to learn more about the rarity of this year. Thank you for the positive feedback. With a little over 3 hours to auction completion, I’ll be answering all questions coming in.
Hi Dwayne I just wanted to say this is a great example and i wrote up the spotlight as it is possibly the nicest one I have seen in years. I called jaguar classic in NJ and their archivist told me two crazy facts. The first was that Ford gave jaguar something along the lines of 30 million dollars for the facelift redesign and that in 1995 they only built 130 coupes for the US. Great listing, great pics. Good luck with the auction. If i was not full at the Inn here in CT I would be bidding myself. :)
Copy that. Thank you for intel! Will be watching.
Good morning. Thanks for a great auction week. Questions/comments, and bids always appreciated. @Fletchccc, after looking at the photos, and video I can see why you might see scratches and 2 white marks under the passenger side mirror. Fortunately, they are NOT scratches or 2 white marks. The time of day in which I took the photos with the trees/landscaping there was significant reflection. If the car hits reserve, the new owner will be extremely pleased with this stunning example. Please keep in mind the rarity of this particular coupe. Only 250 were sent to the US in 1995. Prices will only continue to rise.
Beautiful car. Not nitpicking but am curious about several of the images and hoped you could comment before expiration of auction: Images 30,31,34,35 and 37. Are those scratches, reflection or dust in the images? If you could comment on each, that would be great. Image 38 and 41 Wheel well edging. Are those paint chips or reflections on the edges of the vehicle? Video 1 of exterior: the 32-34 second mark under passenger side mirror.. Are those two white marks scratches or reflections? Thank you!

Yes, previous owner had the timing chain done approximately 10,000 miles ago. With all of the maintenance completed over the years, I should t have any issues for quite some time. I changed the oil 100 miles ago- so if possible new owner decides to drive it home- I’m confident it will make it anywhere in the US.
Have the upgraded metal timing chain tensioners been installed? Thanks
@Mikko, Thank you. I don’t have an invoice on radiator replacement, but no need for it at this time. I’ve driven it regularly in 100 plus degrees temperatures without issue. Ac and heat function 100%- both work as they should. I replaced wipers a few months ago, and have a spare set in the trunk. All electrical components work including the clock. All light Lenses are clear.
Hi looks nice, with so much time spent in hot states, was radiator ever replaced, I saw coolant yes and water pump yes but no radiator. May I assume cold air/warm air is working 1oo% (?); as well as wipers and electricals, NO yellow-orange waring lights? Thnkx.
@Rsumgolf- No , car has never been smoked in.
