This 2002 Ford Thunderbird has been with the seller for four years and is a three-owner, 16k-mile example finished in a one-year-only Thunderbird Blue. The car was sold new in New Hampshire and is powered by a 3.9-liter aluminum V8 paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. In addition to the limited-edition paint is an equally rare removable white porthole hardtop. This eleventh-generation Thunderbird is offered with a black top, a folding storage rack for the hardtop, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Iowa title in the seller's name.
The body is finished in Thunderbird Blue, a new 2002-only Ford color reminiscent of that offered in 1955, and it is complemented by a power-operated black soft top and removable white porthole hardtop. The car is fitted with power mirrors housing electrochromic glass and will come with a folding stand to store the hardtop.
Factory 17" 7-spoke chrome-cast wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires, behind which are 4-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS. Handling is managed by power steering. The CARFAX report documents a brake service in 2017.
The interior is trimmed with black leather with power front buckets, a center console with storage, armrest, and dual cup holders. Additional amenities consist of driver and passenger airbags, dual-zone climate control, an AM/FM stereo with in-dash 6-disc CD changer, power locks, windows, and a power tilt/telescoping steering column.
Instrumentation consists of a white-faced, 160-mph speedometer, 7k tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The odometer shows just under 16k miles, a total the seller reports to be accurate.
The 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 252hp and 267lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The CARFAX report shows mostly regular maintenance up through 2017 when the seller acquired the car, at which time the transmission and cooling system were flushed, and the induction system serviced.
Factory 4-wheel independent suspension provides stability, and the CARFAX report documents a rear differential service in 2017.
The CARFAX report shows New Hampshire registration until 2015, followed by a short stint in Illinois, and then the Iowa seller's purchase in 2017. This report, owner's books, and the original window sticker showing an MSRP of $39,740 are included with the sale.

Differential service question: Acquired this 2002 Ford Thunderbird Deluxe over four years ago. No service records were available. I had this vehicle completely serviced from bumper to bumper by one of the oldest most trusted Ford Dealerships in the U.S; has been meticulously maintained since.
