Good morning. Thank you to everyone for a great week. Because of the interest in this iconic car, I’ve decided to Remove the Reserve. Car will sell to the highest bidder. Best of luck to all Interested- I know it will go to a good home. I’ll be checking in periodically to answer all questions.
BID: $25,000
Good afternoon. @Thislaneopen, there is a reserve for my car. If the bids continue, I will make the decision on the last day of the auction to drop the reserve. I appreciate the bids/comments, and questions.
Is there a reserve price that the seller has for this vehicle, or is it best offer?
BID: $24,500
Good afternoon. Thanks for the significant jump in the bid. It’s heading in the right direction. For all interested in bidding, please refer to the unaltered photos and videos to show the quality of this stunning 442. With 3 days left, I hope it finds a new home that will take care of it the way I have.
BID: $24,000
Good evening. Thank you for the continued bids. @Thorcen, I purchased the car with the 400 Turbo Transmission and B and M Ratchet Shifter. The car is being offered as shown without additional parts included in the sale. With the current setup, it has great power through the gears and low Rpm’s at and beyond freeway speeds.
Also, do you have the original transmission and parts to convert it back to a manual?
Why was the 4spd removed?

Good evening. Thank you for the questions and comments. The vehicle description has all the important details above. @MartyNH, the auction will run the entire 7 days. I’ve set very reasonable reserve for the quality of the car. Being a real 442- unfortunately they don’t sell in the 21k range unless it’s a project. Best of luck to all bidders over the next week. Hopefully she finds a new home.
Will 21,000 dollars buy it now?
What size engine and is she an automatic?
@Crocket-21, I’m available to show at your convenience. Please send a private message or contact Autohunters- and they will give you my cell.
