Vehicle Story

This 1994 Lexus SC400 is a dealer-maintained, stock-condition coupe powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle was originally sold in Scottsdale, Arizona, and subsequently relocated to Texas and then Virginia, where it resides today. Finished in Green Pearl over gray leather this SC400 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Virginia title.

The body is finished in its factory Medium Grayish Green Pearl Metallic (6N1), with color-matching bumpers and side-view mirrors. Lighting is provided by projector-beam halogen headlamps and factory fog lamps. An OEM accessory spoiler with an integrated LED brake lamp and dual polished exhaust tips are found at the rear.

Factory 7-spoke 16” aluminum wheels are wrapped in 225/55 tires of unknown age. Handling is managed by a 4-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, traction control, and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The interior is fitted with power-adjustable gray leather bucket seats with driver position memory along with matching door panels, a center console with padded armrest, and carpeting. Convenience equipment includes cruise control, automatic digital climate control, a power moonroof with a sliding sunshade, variable-intermittent wipers, and a power tilt and telescoping steering column. An aftermarket audio system with AM/FM/CD functions has been added.

Instrumentation is framed by a leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheel and consists of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k tachometer, and accompanying gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. An exterior thermometer is included in the digital display, and the 6-digit odometer reads 210k original miles.

The 4.0-liter 1UZ-FE DOHC V8 is original to the car and was factory-rated at 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque when new. The drive belts were replaced and a 4-wheel alignment was performed in 2006. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Additional undercarriage photos can be found in the gallery.

The CARFAX report shows four owners, a registration history in Arizona, Texas, and Virginia, and a passing Virginia state safety inspection in July 2020.

What are the acceptable payment methods for the seller and time frame.

@mec011 – Looks like a great driver SC! Couple quick questions. -This looks like "Graphite Metallic (182)"? It's certainly not "Medium Grayish Green Pearl Metallic (6N1)" as that's the 1995-only color know as "Teal Mist Metallic (6N1)" on the SC. The distinctive Silver w/Green tint color in 1992-94 was "Silver Spruce Metallic (6M3)". The paint code should be on the barcoded VIN sticker in the door jamb. -The only maintenance mentioned seems to be be pulled out of the Carfax report. Any other info, specifically the date & mileage of the last timing belt change? -Have the front (and rear?) seats been recovered? They look too nice for 200k, but hard to tell in the pics, and they don't seem to match the wear on the shifter, handbrake, or driver's door armrest leather? -Also, it's not clearly pictured by itself, but it looks as if there is some sort of black cover added onto the steering wheel rim? Is the factory leather rim worn/damaged? Thanks, and GLWTA! ...

Great comments. Thanks for adding this information. Looking forward to the seller's response.

This is a beautiful example! Especially for having 200k. Timeless. Good luck with the auction.
