This 1960 Ford F250 has been with the seller for the past eight years. Power is delivered by a 292ci V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The truck wears a Ford Sky Mist Blue finish over gray pleated cloth buckets and is fitted with a diamond-plated utility bed with removable wooden sides. This 123K-mile F250 has new tires and is now offered with a clear Washington title in the seller's name.
The trim tag denotes the truck was originally finished in Ford Sky Mist Blue (F). Imperfections consist of paint scaling, some surface rust on the hood and the rocker panel near the opening of the driver-side door jamb, and some pitting on the steel wheels. Modifications include diamond plating on the utility bed, wood stake sides, and a custom robot Bulldog hood ornament.
New tires are mounted on 15" steel wheels. The seller notes that while the suspension bushings have not been replaced, they are not worn out, and the shocks are in good condition.
The original interior has been replaced with more modern bucket seats finished in gray cloth with top-stitched horizontal pleats and dark blue carpet. The truck did not come equipped with air conditioning but it does have a working heater. Photos show some sagging of the headliner on the passenger side.
A custom instrument cluster frames the working gauges and dash lights. The seller notes that the aftermarket radio is missing its faceplate and does not work.
The 292ci V8 C-code engine was factory rated at 206-hp and 297-lb-ft of torque and delivers power to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller asserts that the engine starts without issue and runs without fault.
Diamond plate has been installed covering the bed floor with wood stake bedsides and a later model F-Series rear bumper installed.
