This 66K-mile 1954 Hudson Super Jet was acquired by the seller from his father and is the third member of his family to own the vehicle since new. Power is delivered by a 202ci inline-6 mated to a column-shifted 3-speed manual with overdrive. Six years ago, the engine was rebuilt with an electric fuel pump, the body was repainted in its original teal green, exterior trim was re-chromed, and the interior was refurbished. More recent work has included a carburetor rebuild as well as the addition of a new battery, muffler and tailpipe, weather stripping, driver-side mirror, and tires. This Super Jet has been driven 75 miles since the refurbishment and is now offered with a clear Montana title.
A teal green respray without clear coat was applied six years ago, at which time the bumpers were re-chromed, and a driver-side mirror was added. The seller reports that the glass is original, as are the hood ornament, all badges, and trim, and notes that the door latches require adjustment for better fit.
The factory 15" steel wheels have been powder coated to match the body and are wrapped in new 205/75 Firestone FR380 whitewall tires. An old temporary spare tire over what the seller describes as a "good" wheel are included.
The interior was refurbished six years ago with new teal green upholstery with gray cloth inserts and a matching dash, door cards, and carpet. Features include a heater, working front cowl vent, rearview mirror, and a steering knob, and the seller has added a turn signal indicator and flasher controls to the steering column. The interior dome light and one radio knob are missing, while the original jack is present.
Additional interior features include the rear seat rope, ashtray, and front seat belts. The fuel gauge is working following a rebuild of the in-tank sensor, and the odometer shows under 67k original miles.
The 202ci inline-6 engine was rebuilt in 2015 and benefits from a newer battery, wiring for the 6V system, an electric fuel pump, and muffler. The carburetor was rebuilt two years ago, the fuel tank has been cleaned, and the oil bath remains. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. A battery tender is used when the car is idle.
Additional photos showing the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The car will come with spare stainless steel trim pieces, extra molding, and a number of 6V bulbs.
I would like to add, for all you bidders out there, it was not mentioned in the ad, but this 1954 Hudson Super Jet is a Unibody Design, no frame. I'm sure many of you know this, but want it out there. Thanks to all the bidders!

@Hymie60 – Very rare car. ...
It's a wonderful Dailey driver, My dad drove it daily in the early 70's, I started to restore it in the late 90's, still drives great. Thanks for the comment!
