This 1974 Triumph TR6 is a mostly original roadster that has been upgraded with an Anza aftermarket exhaust system, wire wheels, and re-plated chrome exterior trim. It is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-6 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in red over a dark brown vinyl interior, this TR6 has been with the seller for four years and is now offered with a clear California title in his name.
The body was professionally repainted in orange under prior ownership, and it has a black cloth convertible top with a plastic rear window that is free of rips or tears. Trim consists of chrome wraparound bumpers, a driver-side chrome mirror, and a trunk-mounted luggage rack. The exhaust has been upgraded with a quad-outlet, polished system from Anza, and TR6 decals are affixed to both rear quarters.
Newer 15” wire wheels are wrapped in 215/70 Hankook Optimo H724 tires installed in April 2017. The front end has undergone some component replacements according to the seller.
The interior is fitted with dark brown vinyl bucket seats with matching door panels, offset by a black dash and black carpet. The dashboard fascia is trimmed in woodgrain and has a locking glove compartment and a modern AM/FM/CD head unit. Per the seller, the upholstery is reportedly free of rips, tears, or stains, and all controls and switches are operating as designed.
Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The 5-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 54.5k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter inline-6 is reported to be original to the car and features dual carburetors. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.. A number of small oil leaks are present.
The sale includes a car cover.

How long have you owned the car? It looks very original.
@beverhart – Yes ...
I believe that you can use unleaded fuel by purchasing lead substitute and adding it to the fuel. when you fill up.
