The car is a survivor. The kick panel has a woodgrain contact paper on it as for the helper springs I’m not sure.

Very nice car. I'm quite interested. I have a few questions if you don't mind. Is this car restored or is it a surviver. Do you know if those, what looks like helper leaves, on the rear axel are after market? The kick panel on the driver side looks strange in the photos. Can you snap a photo and post please? That engine is so perfect looking, ghas it been rebuilt? Thank you.

Hello bidders, my name is Michael Tanore with LVS Motorcars. I have this 1967 Mercury Caliente on Consignment for the current owner. This vehicle belonged to a gentlemen's estate that had multiple vintage cars. All garage kept and well maintained. The bug deflector is removable. It is screwed in to the bottom of the hood trim, not into a painted portion or a portion that you can see from the exterior easily removable, let me know if you have any questions. The vehicle is currently registered in California with clean title in hand happy bidding.
