Reserve Removed: 1972 Chevrolet Suburban

This 1972 Chevrolet Suburban has been with the seller for approximately eight years and has traveled 500 miles since a frame-up restoration two years ago. A rebuilt 350ci V8 delivers power to the rear tires through a 700r4 automatic transmission and features Holley electronic fuel injection, a Holley distributor, MSD ignition, Eddie Motorsports serpentine belts, a Be Cool radiator with electric fans, a new fuel tank, and more. Other modifications and additions include a custom suspension, power steering, and brakes, air conditioning, a refreshed interior with custom audio, all new glass, and new wheels. This Suburban is now offered with a clear Arizona title in the seller's name.

A tan 3M vinyl wrap was applied over fresh bodywork with the inclusion of a new hood, doors, and fender panels, as well as all-new door hinges, handles, moldings, and rubber weather stripping. Other additions consist of all new glass, new Eddie Motorsports billet hood hinges, and new Brothers Trucks nitrogen gas shocks for the rear hatch. The seller notes a single rust spot on the lower portion of the passenger side rocker panel. 

American Racing Torque Thrust wheels staggered 20" x 10" on the rear and 20" x 8" on the front are fitted with brand new Nitto tires. Steering and braking systems are both power-assisted and consist of new front discs, rear drums, master cylinder, steering box, and linkage. The truck rides on a completely rebuilt suspension featuring all-new tie rod ends and sway bar links, while lowered by way of drop spindles and lowering springs. The seller reports a whine from the power steering while under load and has been told by the manufacturer that the noise is not abnormal. 

The interior has been refinished entirely in two-tone tan over cream with tan carpet, and upgrades consist of a Vintage Air air conditioning system with a new controller, an aftermarket stereo with a custom subwoofer enclosure located in the spare tire compartment, and custom billet door latches and window cranks.

All new gauges are installed in the dash, along with a custom billet steering wheel. Approximately 500 miles have been driven since the restoration. 

Power is provided by a Chevrolet Vortec 350ci V8 and it is paired with a Monster Transmissions 700r4 automatic. The engine has been rebuilt and equipped with Holley's self-learning Sniper EFI, Holley distributor, MSD ignition, Eddie Motorsports serpentine system, and stainless steel headers. Other additions include a Be Cool aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, brake master cylinder, and fuel tank and fuel pump. The seller notes a small transmission leak coming from the speedometer cable connection and intends to have this repaired prior to the sale.
