Vehicle Story

This 1995 Acura Legend Special Edition is a dealer-maintained and performance-upgraded sedan with over 60 service records that is powered by a 3.2-liter V6 paired with a 4-speed automatic transaxle. This Legend originated in Scottsdale, Arizona in May 1995, and stayed with its original owner for over 23 years. Equipment includes a custom Stromung exhaust system, factory accessory spoiler, upgraded stereo system, and a K-Sport coilover suspension. Finished in two-tone Taffeta White and Cashmere Silver over an Ivory leather interior, this Legend is now offered at no reserve with a clean CARFAX and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.

This car has reportedly been garage-kept since new and wears its original two-tone paint finish in Taffeta White (NH-578) over Cashmere Silver (YR-505M), which was exclusive to the SE trim level for the last year of Legend production. The low-beam headlight bulbs have been upgraded to LED, and the windows are professionally tinted. A performance Stromung Engineering cat-back exhaust system with dual polished tips has been added at the rear, along with a factory rear spoiler with integrated LED brake lamp. Additionally, custom Japan-sourced taillights with clear turn signals have replaced the factory units with amber lighting.

17" aftermarket wheels finished in Graphite liquid metal were installed 6,000 miles ago in 2020 with 215/45/17 Road Hugger tires. Handling is provided by a double-wishbone front suspension and this car’s stance has been modified with K-Sport Kontrol 32-way adjustable coilovers. Braking components consist of 4-wheel discs.

The interior is fitted with Ivory (Type F) leather bucket seats and matching door panels and carpeting, all reported to be in excellent condition aside from some age-related wear on the bolsters. Embroidered Special Edition floor mats in like-new condition are installed in the footwells. The dash is a two-tone layout with a dark brown upper pad and faux woodgrain trim extends to the center console and window switches. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, a power driver seat with two-position memory, and a moonroof with a sliding shade. The head unit is an aftermarket unit, but the original Bose double-DIN is included with the sale.

Instrumentation is framed by a leather-wrapped 4-spoke steering wheel and consists of a 140-mph speedometer 8k tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Instrument lighting has been upgraded with LED bulbs. The 6-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 173k miles, which are true and original to the vehicle per the seller.

The 3.2-liter “Type I” V6 is original to the vehicle, was factory-rated at 200 horsepower when new, and sends power to the front wheels via a 4-speed automatic transaxle. The CARFAX report documents that the front axles were replaced in 2014, the radiator hoses were replaced in 2016, and the brake rotors were resurfaced and pads replaced in 2018. In 2020, the differential oil and transmission fluid were changed, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system was professionally cleaned , and an oil service was performed. The seller also states the timing belt was replaced in 2020 and power steering rack was replaced with a OEM unit along with seals.

Additional photos showing the underside are available in the gallery.

The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage. The sale includes a large binder of service records, the owner’s manual and books, 3 keys , 2 key fobs, and the car’s original Bose head unit.

@Giediprime – Great looking legend...does the A/C work well and is it still r-12? Also do the OEM wheels convey? ...

Thank you. The A/C is ice ice cold. Heat works fabulous. The A/C is R134, along with a recharge in 2019. Not sure what you’re asking about the wheels but I do not have the oem wheels.

@em689 – Hey, if you don't mind me asking, why are you selling it after investing so much money and only owning it for a year? ...

Due to personal reasons , ( medical ) I had planned on keeping it but some things just don’t work out the way you want them to.
