Single-Family-Owned 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS

This 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS performance coupe has been with the same family since new and was the recipient of a new long block in October 2020. Power is provided by a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Other recent work includes the installation of a new water pump, alternator, oxygen sensor, starter, and crankshaft pulley and balancer. Finished in white over a maroon interior and showing approximately 115k miles, this SS is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, service records, and a clear Kentucky title in the seller’s name.

The body was professionally repainted in its original white, and it features color-matched moldings with a black lower front lip, headlight surrounds, and window surrounds. There are SS graphics on each door and a trunk-mounted spoiler at the rear as factory-installed equipment. The seller reports that the exterior has some cosmetic imperfections but does not show any rust.

Aftermarket aluminum wheels are wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger G/T raised-white-letter tires of unknown age. Per the CARFAX report, the rear drums and shoes were replaced in 2017, as were the wheel cylinders. The suspension is a coil set-up.

The interior is trimmed in maroon cloth upholstery with matching carpet and contrasting brown door panels, dash, and center console. Amenities include power windows and locks, air conditioning, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD head unit.
