Good Afternoon. Thank you for the continued bids. @Carigan1, thanks for the comment. Earlier B’s had the maroon valve cover- but was changed to black in the early 70’s. Mine is original to the car and shows well. My preference would be to upgrade to a polished steel cover. With less than 24 hours remaining in the auction , please let me know if you have additional questions. Hopefully it finds a new home tomorrow.

In doing further research I have found that this could be a change over model where they went to Morris color of black engine. This could readily answer my question.

Morning Dwayne, hey, vehicle story says original engine, it is not the original factory color maroon, which was the MG standard. Can you tell us why a change of color to black? Thanks, SC

Good morning. Thanks for all of the questions. Firstly, this is a standard 4 Speed car. No overdrive. Like most wire wheels that are original to the car- there are tubes in the tires. @Carrigan1- as far as the brakes go, they function perfectly. There is a small amount of debris in the wheels which I will clean. When I detailed the car- I missed that. Thank you for pointing it out. Also, I wanted to point out the car will include a convertible top Cover- (canvas), and a homemade black carpet kit for the trunk.

In going over questions, I don’t see any answer weather the car has overdrive trans or not. Could you please let us know and if it is in working condition? Should only work in 3rd or 4th gear.

If I asked an incorrect question, I apologize. In going over pictures again I don’t see any gunk on the wheels. I may have gotten your ad connected to some other cars pictures in my aged mind!

Are the wheels tube or tubeless? Thanks again.

Please answer what that ‘stuff’ is on inside of the 2 front wheels. Looks like shredded aluminum foil and kind of corrosive. That one rotor looks pretty scared also? Overall car seem nice. Thank you, Steve

Good morning. @Cnj520, thanks for the question. Blaze red definitely has orange in it. When painted, color was matched with engine bay. Color is bright right classified as Flame Red that was used from 1970-1972. Hopefully this example finds a new home. A stunning car.

Hi. Color listed as blaze (which is orange) and the color looks orange in the video but red in the pictures. It's it blaze orange? Also does it have overdrive? Thanks!

@Thepatman47- thanks for the question. Fortunately the valves have been hardened- runs great on low octane unleaded.

Being a 1972, are the fuel requirements still for leaded, premium fuel, or have the valves been hardened for unleaded fuel? Thank you, Patrick Myers

Good morning fellow British Car Enthusiasts. Thank you for the initial bids. This is a very well sorted Mg. Gaps are nearly perfect and paint is near show quality. The Ad states scuffs on the trunk- there are No Scuffs or chips in the paint. Prior to selling I wet sanded and polished it. Besides 2 cracks on the upper dash that I’ll post- interior is in excellent condition. I purchased and installed an high quality dash Mat the hides the imperfections. All glass is in great shape, and chrome shows as new. I’ll be checking in all week to answer all questions.
