This 1991 Buick Riviera is a two-owner, 49k-mile example that was the recipient of over $10k in work over the past two years. Specific maintenance consisted of refreshing the fuel system, electrical system, and air conditioning, and a protective ceramic paint coating was applied. The car is reported to have remained with its original owner until being acquired by the seller in 2019, and it is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Finished in red metallic over a red leather interior, this Riviera is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, detailed service records, and a clear Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in red metallic with a white vinyl half-top and a coat of ceramic paint protection was applied in January 2021. Exterior finishes are reported to be original, and the seller notes that the car has been garage-kept and is free of rust. There are some small stone chips and scratches consistent with age.
Factory 15” steel wheels with wire covers are wrapped in new Uniroyal Tiger Paw whitewall tires. All 4 struts were recently replaced and a 4-wheel alignment was performed. Handling is aided by power steering and the car is equipped with 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The interior is fitted with power-operated red leather bucket seats and matching door panels, crack-free dash, and carpet. Recent work has included a replacement headliner and installation of a steering wheel cover. Amenities include power windows, locks, and mirrors, a power trunk release and pull-down, a moonroof, air conditioning, and cruise control. The audio system is a factory AM/FM/cassette head unit.
Instrumentation is framed by a tilt steering wheel and consists of a 120-mph speedometer, 6k tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and other data. The digital odometer shows approximately 49k miles, which the seller asserts is accurate.
The 3.8-liter V6 is original to the vehicle and has been maintained using synthetic oil, having most recently received an oil change in April 2021. Comprehensive maintenance has been performed since the seller’s acquisition of the car in 2019, including replacement of the battery, cables, starter motor, belts, radiator, cooling fan, gaskets, wipers, and front crank seal. In addition, the air conditioning system is fully sorted with a new condenser and recent retrofit to R-134 refrigerant. The radiator and cooling fan are new, and both the transmission and fuel injection system were recently serviced. The seller reports that there are no leaks nor outstanding needs. Power is transferred to the front wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage and Connecticut registration from 1996 through the Colorado seller's purchase in 2019. The sale includes detailed service records.

@[email protected] – Can you tell me if this Rivera has one of the Buick packages when new (Gran Sport, Gran Touring, Luxury, Premium or Prestige)?? Thank you, Rick ...
Hello! My wife and I walked around our car this afternoon and could not see any badging stating she's a Gran Sport, Gran Touring, Luxury, Premium. Wouldn't the VIN be able to identify any 'package'? These nothing on the outside stating anything else. I do know the elderly owner ordered her with every option checked you could get in 1991, there's supposedly nothing else the dealer said GM offered. Hope this helps

My wife and I wanted the auction buyers that the RESERVE IS RIDICULOUS LOW because we’re being transferred to DaNang Vietnam for the last 3 years of my wife’s career, my wife is 56 and I’m 64, I took early retirement a few years ago. The old saying holds true today - Our loss is YOUR gain This is a true “turn-key” classic car that only needs a good home, she turns heads everywhere we go, grocery stores, Dr appointments, gas stations, church etc etc
@HowardO – Don’t have a proper figure for you, there’s plenty of open “open carriers” that will give you quotes. My wife & I have been transported to 11 different states in 32 years and the last time we sent a car from Connecticut to Colorado cost $835. That was just 2 1/2 years ago. Hope this helps - Also the ad states new steering wheel cover, have no idea where they got that from but the red leather steering wheel factory cover is in pristine condition with no marks or discoloration. ...
Correction, we have been transferred by my wife’s employer 11 times (we have 6 grown children and they absolutely hated being put into new schools as often as they had)
