@Mikebonjon – The video on Classic Car Center's website has a couple of loud bangs during the beginning of the test drive in the city. What were they? ...
Hi, Mike: when we were preparing materials for the auction we noticed the same noise on the video so we played it again for the driver. He said it was his foot moving off of the brake pedal and to the clutch (he was stopped at a light), and the noise you hear is the pedal returning quickly to its stops. Since it was "driver caused" I felt it was inappropriate for it to be part of the auction video and had that segment removed. We left that portion on our website and other internet sites since it had previously been published and we try to avoid changing information someone may have seen one week only to find changes made a week later.

The video above herein does not have such noises.

Hi, PMV: the air conditioning was, according to the records, apparently installed by the dealer at the time of original sale--58 years ago. We aren't sure why it isn't working but wanted to alert bidders that it is not presently functioning.
What is wrong with the A/C?
