@alt52 – @specialtycarslimited , Do you have any hard documentation that shows the car was a tri- power car, i see no document showing it had tripower when it was new ,it shows a Ba code which is the basic pkg you got a heater and defroster a deluxe radio latex foam cushion seats is how gm advertised themand a oil bath air cleaner . ...
Hello. I have all the documentation from the dealership when sold new. The car was sold kind of late in the model year and heavily discounted. Since an older lady was the original owner I tend to think that the car was ordered a certain way then the person who ordered it decided not to take delivery. The price is also fairly high for a pretty basic Chieftain, which could indicate a little more money for the tri power. I wish I could get my PHS papers for it but I can’t. They don’t go back this far. All of the tri power set up is 1958 correct. Also, at the current price I don’t genuinely think it matters either way. I see completely wrong cars sell at auctions for $100,000++, I think it’s a wonderful car with tons of great paperwork from day 1. I tend to think comments or questions like this from a non bidder are meant to derail the auction in its last few hours. Again, for the current price point I don’t think there’s anything out there that compares to this car right, wrong or otherwise. Thank you for your interest and I hope you get in on the action.

Hello everyone. I was reading the ad and noticed it said there is a paint blemish on the front fender. That is incorrect. I took the photos when I first got the car and had that repaired. If you look at the videos which I took the day of the listing you’ll see there’s no issue. Thank you
@majasa – Just curious; do all the instruments work, all light groups, seals in good shape? Trunk photo with floor shot would be appreciated. Are there any issues that stand out needing to be addressed to perform normally? Any service receipts throughout the years? Have you performed any work since you've owned it? GLWTA! Thank you. ...
Hello. All of the gauges work. The shift indicator does not move though. All of the lights work. All of the seal are great. I tried to put a ton of pictures and there’s at least 6 minutes worth of videos. The best thing to do is watch and look at stuff on the biggest screen you can find. The car is phenomenal. I’ve owned it over 4 years. At the current price point you couldn’t do the chrome on it. It’s an amazing car. I haven’t done much to it. My mechanic rebuilt the carbs, we put a new NOS voltage regulator and master cylinder on it. It really hasn’t needed anything. It’s a get in and go kind of car. It’s also available to view in person if anyone would like. Thanks!

@MoleEddie – Wipers work he said he turned on.I did not see vacuum wipers work. What stains on the headliner. ...
Good morning! The wiper do work. I was playing with the light switch when I mentioned the wipers. It’s hard to start a car, film, talk, and play with buttons all at the same time! Wipers work, horn works, radio works, heat works. I’m sure there are some things that don’t work. It’s a 67 year old survivor. My dad is a 67 year old survivor and there’s things that don’t work on him too!! The headliner has discoloration. Not a huge deal, but it’s there. There are several pictures of it in the ad. Pull them up on a big screen and you can see. I hope if you win the car you don’t plan on driving it in the rain!!! Way too nice for that. At the current price point I don’t think either of these things would make a difference. Thank you for your interest!
