Good morning. Thank you for a great week. This car speaks for itself with the quality of the build. Hopefully it finds a new home today. I’ve just lowered the reserve 5k, so somebody might get a great deal on a very unique car. I’ll be checking in periodically to answer all questions until the end of the auction.
BID: $24,500
@Fastiane65- thanks for the question. It will involve some custom work- but I do have a restored top frame from an Austin Healey 100/6 that I will include in the sale if I hit reserve. It will require some modification, but will work. Like most British cars I’ve owned over the last 30 years- top is always down, and garage stored until the sun is out. Fortunately- I’m in Phoenix.
Details on how a top could be added are important since this is a converted coupe. TVR convertibles were not built until 1978 and had modified bodywork and doors without roll up windows. Looks like a really fun car until the weather turns bad.
Good morning. Thank you for the continued bids. A top can absolutely be added if desired. The roll bar sits low allowing for plenty of clearance. For those in the market for a Cobra combined with the styling of a TVR- this car fits the bill. At roughly 1900 pounds, with a built 302- extremely responsive, with excellent handling. With 1 day left- please let me know if you have additional questions. Car includes extensive build invoices.
Can a top be added or has the roll bar made that impossible?

Good afternoon fellow classic car enthusiasts. This is a very special custom car unlike any other TVR. It’s been converted to roadster configuration with a custom made tonneau cover. To recreate this car- it would run well over 65k. The modifications include a ford 5.0 V8 balanced and blueprinted, aluminium cylinder heads, racing cam, free flow exhaust, Ford T5 close ratio transmission, upgraded front brakes with 4 pot calipers, custom double hoop roll bar,and a teak dash with vdo gauges. Weight of the car is 1960 pounds. Horsepower rated at 320 with an estimated top speed of 160mph. I’ve set the reserve at a very reasonable number for the quality build of this very rare car. Hopefully it will find a new home in the next week.
