Vehicle Story

This 2002 Chevrolet Corvette convertible shows 54k miles and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller reports that the car is rust-free and in very good overall condition, and the CARFAX shows the car was relocated to Texas in 2013 and then Florida in 2020. Finished in Red Tint Metallic with a tan cloth top over a tan leather interior, this C5 Corvette is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title in the seller’s name.

The body is clad in its original Red Tint Metallic Tricoat (86) paint and sports a tan cloth top. Exterior features include the signature C5 pop-up headlamps, vented front fenders, optional body side moldings, quad round taillamps, and a quad-outlet polished exhaust.

Factory 17” front and 18” rear 5-spoke wheels with Corvette center caps are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires of unknown age.

The interior is trimmed in tan leather with power-operated bucket seats, two-tone tan and black door panels, a black dash pad, and tan carpet. Amenities include power windows, power door locks, cruise control, and a factory AM/FM/CD head unit. Photos show minor bolster and cushion wear.

Instrumentation is framed by a 4-spoke steering wheel and consists of a 200-mph speedometer, 7.5k tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows approximately 54k miles, which the seller asserts is accurate.

The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is original to the vehicle and was factory-rated at 350 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller reports regular maintenance and notes no current leaks or other issues. The CARFAX report shows that an oil and filter change was performed in July 2020 at Castriota Chevrolet. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.

The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage, five owners, and past registration in New York, Texas, and Florida.
