@Fishnut3279 – Does the top go up and down ok? ...

Sorry, Fishnut, I missed your earlier message: this is a fixed roof Fairlane.

Hi, Fishnut: the heater works fine but you'll need to rely on the vent windows and abundant airflow from the post-less design for cooling. Since the car has a 12-volt electrical system, AC can always be added if you choose.

Does it have AC? How does the heat work?

@Coopster – Gorgeous car. Love the ‘57 Fords. Lights and horn could be traced to the wiring harness. Wasn’t much to replace considering the condition of the overall car, but that was back in the day when my 1960 Starliner had similar problems. Can’t help but think repair and fixing rear end leak wouldn’t bring more money than in its present condition, especially for a 17k original mile car. ...

Hi, Coopster: thanks for your reminiscing about your '60 Ford. As you know from your Starliner experience, one of the great things about the classic car hobby is that the average owner can actually tinker with his or her car--something that we can't do on modern vehicles. I'm sure you remember the pleasure of finding that loose wire or dirty connection that solves an electrical problem or tightening a belt to stop the squealing noise under the hood. There are always minor problems one has to address but with the rebuild of this Fairlane's engine and transmission 2,000 miles ago the larger jobs have already been done.
