Vehicle Story

This 1974 GMC Sierra Grande is a two-wheel-drive pickup which features a professional repaint, a custom reupholstered leather interior, and a modern Focal audio system. It is powered by a 454ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Finished in yellow with a white roof over a saddle leather interior, this Sierra Grande is now offered with a clear Texas title in the seller’s name.

This GMC Sierra was resprayed in yellow with a white roof and the body is described as being in excellent condition throughout. It wears chrome bumpers both front and rear, chrome sideview mirrors, and badging on each front fender, along with a 454 badge on the driver side of the grille. A sliding-glass rear window looks out over of the bed which is color-matched in yellow, and a polished-outlet dual exhaust system is installed at the rear, with tailpipes on either side of the license plate.

One-off Baja aftermarket 15” wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires with raised white lettering.

The interior is fitted with custom saddle leather bucket seats with baseball glove stitching, matching headliner, door panels, and a center console with storage and a cup holder. The lower portion of the instrument panel is color-matched to the exterior while the dash itself sits under a pad, with Sierra Grande badging above the glove compartment. Custom brown carpeting is also present along with matching floor mats. The stereo system is by Focal.

Instrumentation sits behind a custom wood-rimmed steering wheel with a GMC center cap, and includes a 100-mph speedometer, along with gauges for fuel, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 35k miles, but true chassis mileage is unknown.

The 454ci V8 is mounted within a matte-black engine bay and features a chrome-finished air cleaner, Edelbrock valve covers, and an Optima red-top battery. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a GM Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission operated by a column-mounted shift lever.
