This 1930 Chevrolet Panel Light Delivery underwent a frame-off restoration and is draped in a Navy Blue exterior with hand-painted mural recreations. The restored interior features black vinyl bucket seats and wood paneling in the cargo area. Originally sold in Tarrytown, NY, the vehicle is powered by a cast-iron 194ci 6-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed non-synchro manual transmission. It received the Junior Award from the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. Offered now with a clear California title in the name of the selling dealer, the panel delivery truck comes with a copy of the original delivery brochure.
Finished in a Navy Blue exterior that was applied during the restoration, the hand-painted flower shop mural of, “Parkside Flowers” was applied to the side panels as a recreation of the original sales brochure from 1930. Other exterior features include a Moto-meter radiator gauge, chrome front and rear bumpers as well as chrome-plated headlights and driver side rear taillight. A period-correct spare tire adorns the driver's side along the running boards.
Chevrolet 5-lug wheels are wrapped in wide white-walled tires on all four sides. Suspension items include original Chevrolet hydraulic shock absorbers and leaf springs.
The restored interior features black vinyl bucket seats, along with highly varnished oak in the rear along the walls and floor. A floor-mounted manual gear lever is affixed in the center of the occupants’ space.
Behind the four-spoke steering wheel sit four gauges, including in-dash fuel guage, oil pressure, water temperature and an odometer reading 34 miles, though the seller notes the actual amount being unknown.
The straight-six cast iron 194ci engine is original to the car, per the seller. Producing 50 horsepower when new, the engine utilized a forged steel crankshaft with three bearings and cast-iron pistons. Power is sent to the rear wheels via the three-speed non-synchro manual transmission.
The undercarriage has been fully restored with all metal surfaces repainted or plated, additional photos can be seen in the gallery. Located in Scottsdale, AZ this panel truck is offered with a clean California title from the selling dealer
