This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a matching-numbers 350-horsepower L79 327ci small-block V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Optioned with factory Soft-Ray tinted windows, power windows, and a Teakwood steering wheel among more, the seller says the original Delco radio still works and lists a host of work performed and an array of replaced parts during their ownership, including a rebuilt Holley carburetor, installation of a Breakerless electronic ignition, and addition of an Optima battery. This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 1,275 finished in Goldwood Yellow for its year, is sold with maintenance records, service invoices, a reproduction build sheet, and is offered on a clear title in the seller's name.
The seller describes the exterior Goldwood Yellow finish as the car's original color, and reports that the paint is protected by a Nanoskin T3 ceramic coating. A black soft top offers contrast against the body, and photos show a lack of creases and other folding, along with a clear rear window. An optional side-mount exhaust (N14) is fitted, and badges are affixed in their factory positions including a Corvette Stingray emblem on the passenger side of the trunk lid, flags on the hood, and emblems on the front fenders above the vents. A power antenna for the optional AM/FM radio (U69) is also pictured.
Wheels are a set of bolt-on Corvette America items which adhere to the style of the factory Kelsey-Hayes knockoff design. Goldwall tires were optional, and this C2 Corvette wears a set of BF Goodrich Silvertown Goldline radials.
Black leather upholstery lines the interior which contains an optional Teakwood steering wheel (N32), Delco AM/FM radio (Z01), and power windows (C07). Optional Soft-Ray tinted glass panes are used for all windows including the windshield (A01), and the seller reports all gauges as being in working order including the clock. The Delco radio is billed as functional, and a Hurst shifter is also fitted.
The optional Teakwood steering wheel frames the gauge array which includes a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and additional instruments for fuel, oil pressure, water temperature, and the charging system.
The engine is described as a matching-numbers L79 327ci small-block Chevrolet V8 which was rated at 350 horsepower at 5,800 rpm when new with 360 pound-feet of torque at 3,600. Factory equipment for the 350-horsepower 327 included a Holley four-barrel carburetor, large port heads, hydraulic lifters, domed pistons, and an enlarged five-quart oil pan. This engine could only be ordered with a 4-speed manual which is fitted here, and the rear axle is the optional Posi-traction (G91) unit. The seller discloses maintenance in the form of the original Holley carburetor being rebuilt, installation of a Breakerless ignition, fitment of an Optima battery, and an oil service.

@ScottF – It has 4 wheel disc brakes. 65 was the first year for this. No power steering or brakes. You don’t need either one and in my opinion the mid year Corvettes are much better without them. ...
It has brand new 205/75 15” BFG Silvertown Goldline radials. Its easy to steer one armed. The four wheel disc make it easy to stop… pedal is not too hard. Of course it won’t be like your moms Cadillac but very manageable.
@motorcityoakey – Any creature comforts, power steering, power brakes, disc or drum. ...

Hello 58chevyguy, I have maintenance records dating back to 4/26/2011. I've uploaded these pics. I have a copy of an OHIO Title that is stamped with 47,154 exempt miles, Issued 02/01/2008. I have a copy of the last Title, a California Title, Issued 09/25/15. There is not an odometer reading on this Title. I now hold the current Texas tile. I purchased it out of a dealer in California. I'm thinking it was probably painted and upholstered in the early 2000's. It has a very good base coat clear coat paint and shines really good as you can see from the pics. The ceramic coating is amazing too. I do not have the original shifter but the Hurst is 100% better than the originals ever were, especially if you plan to drive it. I've been driving the car every nice weekend. It drives amazing, is very strong, and sounds amazing. Let me know if you have any other questions. Inspections are welcome too. Thanks!

Can you provide any history on the car? Do you have the original shifter? When was it painted/upholstered? Is the mileage original?
Hello all, please let me know if there are any other photos you'd like to see or any questions. Thank you!
