This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is optioned with the RS package and is powered by a matching-numbers 350ci LT-1 rated at 360 horsepower backed by a 3-Speed T400 automatic transmission which aligns with the car's manufacture date. Equipment includes power steering and brakes, Rallye gauges, and a tilting steering column, while a COPO spoiler is fitted to the trunk lid. Finished in Classic Copper Poly with white stripes over a Sandalwood interior, this 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 had Zeibart rust-inhibiting undercoating applied when new, is accompanied by invoices and receipts from early in its life, and is offered on a clear Montana title.
This Camaro Z/28 wears a shade of Classic Copper Poly (67) which was a factory-offered color for the model during 1970. The finish is contrasted by white rally stripes and identifying Z/28 badges are affixed to the front fenders, grille, and the COPO spoiler mounted on the trunk lid. Brightwork exhibits a deep reflective quality in the photos and is comprised of chrome bumpers, rocker panel covers, and smaller bits for the headlights and window surrounds.
Factory Camaro Z/28 wheels are mounted with a matching set of Firestone Wide Oval tires.
The interior contains Sandalwood (70) upholstery and optional wood trim appliqué for the instrument panel, steering wheel, door cards, and center console. The Camaro script on the glove compartment was standard while windows are operated by crank. An older tape deck is mounted where the factory radio once was. Air conditioning was not available for the Z/28. A photo is included to show the Z/28-only mounting for the gas pedal, and the seller reports that the pedal is present and accounted for.
Instrumentation sits behind the factory two-spoke steering wheel design and consists of a 150-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and smaller dials for fuel, amperage, and coolant temperature. All of the gauges are described as functional including the clock, which was part of the U14 instrument panel gauge package.
Responsible for motivation is a 350ci LT-1 small-block Chevrolet V8 which is described as the matching-numbers unit by the seller, with photos of various casting stamps available for viewing in the image carousel. The LT-1 had factory output of 360 gross horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 380-pound-feet of torque at 4,000 for 1970, and is mated to an optional 3-speed T400 automatic transmission which bears stamps that indicate it was manufactured during the same period as the car and LT-1 engine. Part of the VIN is legible on the transmission and it does have the correct rear differential code ("COZ") for a 1970 Z/28. The rear differential has a 3.73:1 gear ratio.
A receipt documenting the application of Ziebart rust-inhibiting undercoating when the car was new is included.
Photos of the various data plates and casting stamps are available for viewing in the image carousel.

@plymouth never referenced it was McNeish certified! I really think if it was it would have really helped the car with real bidders! I have no intentions of dogging the car just getting the facts. Cheers!!
@autohunter thx for the video, really looks like a nice car, I try to verify as much info as I can as I know when the final 2 bidding min's are hear it will be helpful.

Seller never represented this car as being Chevrolet high-performance certified by Jerry McNeish
Engine block serial number stamp pad looks 100% legit to me
@RockyS from all of your comments and intense questioning of the seller… This doesn’t seem like the right car for you. If you know your second generation Camaros well and you look at the chassis pics you can tell that it’s not been frame off restored. Seems to me like you are trying to spotlight your concerns to influence other bidders. I usually don’t sound off like this but it appears to me as though you are bullying the seller with your comments with intention to sabotage other interest. Just sayin’
