Vehicle Story

This 1956 Ford F-100 was the recipient of a recent ground-up restoration including a long list of new parts and modern modifications for a comfortable and reliable driving experience. Powered by a mildly modified 351ci V8 paired with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission, this freshly painted, steel-bodied truck is equipped with heat, Vintage air conditioning, power steering, brakes and windows, aftermarket wheels, and a custom stereo system. Located in Massillon, Ohio, a clean Ohio title in the seller's name is offered with the sale.

Recently refinished in GM Redfire metallic two-stage paint, the truck's exterior features the iconic wrap-around windshield glass and all steel body panel construction as well as new chrome bumpers, new polished stainless handles and trim pieces, Ford branded emblems, and period-correct halogen headlights and tail lights with clear parking lamps. The fuel tank has been replaced by a No Limit Engineering unit with the fuel filler relocated to the bed among stained natural oak slats accented by stainless trim rails.

Wheels are polished Boyd Coddington pieces fitted with 235/50R17 Bridgestone Potenzas on the front and 235/45R20 Bridgestone Dueler H/P’s on the rear. Handling is assisted by a Lucid power steering system and power front discs with rear drums along with a custom Plymouth Volare front end and leaf spring rear suspension.

The interior has been custom finished in body-matching color with two-tone leather and suede over the door panels and bench seating along with billet accessory knobs, lap belts, power windows, Vintage air conditioning, steel foot pedals, and an aftermarket stereo system hidden under the seat.

Framed in the 4-spoke wood grain Lecarra steering wheel is an all-new set of Dolphin No Limit billet instrumentation featuring a 140mph speedometer showing approximately 2000 miles of use since installed.

Power is produced by a 351ci Ford V8 which has been rebuilt with the addition of a mild camshaft, polished Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold, Ford Racing air cleaner, valve covers, breathers, and plug wires, MSD ignition coil, and ceramic coated headers. Serpentine components were sources from an F-150 and accessories all feature a polished finish. Shifting is done automatically by way of a C4 3-speed transmission with the addition of a shift kit and Hughes Performance transmission pan.

All new stainless brake and fuel lines can be found underneath along with an open, 3.5:1 geared Ford 9" rear end and Flowmaster "H-pipe" exhaust system leading to polished exhaust tips at the rear exit.

@Calguy75287 – Curious if the steering wheel may collapse or lower to get further away from Driver? Looks like a tight fit for a 6'2" 210lb guy like me. What is the roominess (leg room) like on this? Thanks!! ...

The steering wheel is a tilt wheel. Also, the bench seat does adjust/slide forward and back. I've had a friend who's 6'-3" ride along with me and head room was not a problem at all for him. I understand your concern and can only suggest you sit in a comparable year/size truck from the 50's to determine if you'll be comfortable. The bench seat in this truck is all new and by itself is very comfortable for me. Hope this helps and thank you for your question!
