Besides the dash and wipers the el Camino is on very nice working order! It has very nice paint on it. I have not found and bubbles or cracks coming through.

@soyster000 – Any rust repair on the body ...

I have not seen any obvious rust repairs on the el Camino.. I don’t know the full history on the car so I can’t say with confidence if there has been any repairs In the past, there are no signs of any rust issues currently! Let me know if there are any areas you would like me to do some closer inspection on.

@Farmer40 – When was the motor replaced? Was the Camino rewired at that time? Are the gauges, speedometer and wipers non-functional, that is, not working at all and requiring replacement, or were they just not reconnected after the other modifications were completed? ...

I don’t know exactly when the motor was replaced, I believe the restoration was completed around 8 years ago and I would assume this is when the motor was replaced as well. I believe the car still retains its original wiring harness. I have not dug into the issues with the gauges and wipers, judging by the fact non of them are working I would assume that the wiring harness to the gauge cluster is disconnected, I cannot speak to condition or the connectors but hopefully would be a relatively easy fix for someone with experience wiring systems from this era.

@Timmarks – Pictures of rear bed. Please.Sure would be nice to have gauges and windshield wipers working really would make the car worth bidding on. Tim ...

Here is a photo of the bed. Understandable that the issues with the gauges and wipers may deter some bidders. Hopefully we will be able to make a deal on the car as is!
