This 1933 Ford Model B half-ton pickup is a custom-built street rod that underwent a $14,000 overhaul within the last 5,000 miles and features air conditioning, a modern stereo system, VDO gauges, and a reupholstered interior. A 460ci Ford V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a C6 3-speed automatic transmission and a 9” Ford rear-end, and a professionally applied burgundy metallic finish complements the tan leather interior. This Model B is now offered with restoration documentation and on a clear Ohio title in the seller’s name.
This Model B was subject to a high-quality restoration within the last 5,000 miles, including a respray in burgundy metallic paint and $14,000 in upgrades which are documented by accompanied invoices and paperwork. The body has been polished and detailed, and some of the details include a color-matched windshield visor, diamond-plate steel running boards, shaved exterior door handles, and billet accents for the gas cap and taillights. A custom enclosure underneath the driver's side provides a compartment for the battery, and the electrical system is wired for remote-operated doors. The bed has wood rubbers that are reported to be in excellent condition, and there are dual polished exhaust outlets at the rear.
American Racing Torque Thrust D 15” chrome five-spoke wheels are wrapped in Defender Sport SR tires. An upgraded four-wheel disc braking system has been added per the seller, with replaced componentry that includes the master cylinder, pads, and rotors.
The interior is comprised of a reupholstered tan leather bench seat with matching door panel accents and a wrap for the rim of the Lecarra billet steering wheel. The footwells are fitted with replacement medium-pile carpeting, and the interior features billet trim for the switchgear, pedals, and door handles. Amenities include heat and air conditioning, power windows, and a modern Sony AM/FM/CD/MP3 head unit mounted in a custom enclosure in the headliner.
Instrumentation takes the form of a series of analog and digital VDO gauges with gold trim rings set within a color-matched burgundy dash. The digital odometer reads 5,200 miles which is indicative of the miles driven since the mechanical rebuild.
The Ford 460ci V8 is topped with a chrome air cleaner assembly and has accrued about 5,000 miles since its installation. Reportedly delivering 345 horsepower, the powerplant is said to have received recent maintenance including a replacement battery, rear pinion seal, and oil pan and sump. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed C6 heavy-duty automatic transmission and a Ford 9” rear end.
The sale includes photos and records of work performed.
