This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is finished in red over a tan interior. It is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 and 4-speed automatic transmission, the odometer shows 95k miles. This car was originally sold in California and has remained on the west coast since new. Features include both hard and soft tops (included with sale), automatic climate control, power windows, power central locking system, cruise control, refreshed brakes, and suspension components. This 560SL is now offered with a clean CARFAX and a clear Arizona title in the seller's name.
Finished in Signal Red (568H) from the factory, the paint on this Mercedes-Benz is original with a white pinstripe on either side. The chrome bumper and black side-trim are intact and in original condition.
This 560SL is on factory 15” alloy chrome finished wheels and are original to the car, fitted with Michelin tires. Suspension and brake services are noted on the CARFAX history report, with the most recent reported inspection service taking place in 2017. The seller notes ABS Sensors, Pads/rotors, engine mounts, and the power steering pump as being replaced.
The tan interior in this Mercedes-Benz is original to the car and has been maintained over time. The wood trim and dashboard are original as well and are in new condition according to the seller. This 560SL comes with both hard and soft tops which include rear window defrosters.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph center speedometer. To either side is a tachometer, coolant, fuel, oil, and battery voltage gauges. This car is fitted with an aftermarket AM/FM radio head-unit. The seller notes that the odometer indicates 95k miles after 15 years under their ownership.
The 5.6-liter Mercedes-Benz V8 is original to this car and has been routinely maintained since new. From the factory, it was rated at 227 horsepower and 279 ft-lbs of torque. CARFAX shows maintenance records date back 20 years and the seller notes engine mounts, drive belts, exhaust, and rear main seal as having been replaced recently with OEM replacement parts.
