It is not a crack in the cross member. It is a plastic air deflector under front bumper. Can be replaced for $60.00 and yes it is a VERY nice original truck!
The crack appears to be under the front end and looks to be good old American workmanship ie incomplete welding on a cross member. Nice truck!

I can get more pics. Also II would be glad for a mechanic to look at it. It has no rust anywhere, paint is original, seats, dash and door panels are perfect. I have owned it 4 yrs, changed oil and filter 3 times. Drive it once a month. Only driven 1,000 miles since I got it. Thanks

Okay yeah that would be great. Could you get more photos of the undercarriage aswell? Does it have any rust anywhere? What’s the backstory on this truck? Like how long have you had it and what’s the maintenance look like on it?

I have never seen it. It may be a wire or vine hanging down. This truck is original and has never been painted. Always garaged and is in perfect condition. I have it stored 20 miles away but if you are very interested I can check lt out tomorrow. Call me 706-831-3466. Thanks
