This 1979 Chevrolet K10 is powered by a 350ci small-block Chevrolet V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and is fitted with a plastic bed liner, an aftermarket grille, and a Pioneer radio. Finished in a respray of medium blue and white, factory wheels wear Cooper all-terrain tires, and the interior is upholstered in blue cloth and features additional gauges below the dash. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a two-speed transfer case with low-range, and this K10 is offered with an owner's manual.
This third-generation K10 was assembled during Chevrolet’s “Rounded Line” era in a regular cab configuration. The exterior finishes were reportedly professionally resprayed in two-tone medium blue with white side panels. Trim elements are finished in chrome and stainless steel, and are reported to be in excellent condition. The seller states that the grille was replaced with an aftermarket unit as part of the pickup’s refurbishment. A sliding-glass rear window looks out onto the cargo bed which is protected by Duraliner plastic inserts.
Steel 15” wheels with chrome trim rings and 4x4-labeled center caps are wrapped in Cooper Discoverer AT3 raised-white-letter all-terrain tires. Built on a ladder-style frame, the K10 was advertised as having counter-angled rear shocks to help reduce brake and power hop. Stopping power comes courtesy of disc brakes up front and drums in the rear.
The cab is fitted with light-blue cloth high-back bench seating with a fold-down center armrest, matching blue vinyl door panels, and black carpeting. Amenities include a heater and a later Pioneer AM/FM/CD head unit that is wired to a speaker in each door panel, and a label inside the glove compartment specifies a cargo weight rating of 1,331 pounds.
Instrumentation mounted on a black bezel with trim rings, including a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. Aftermarket auxiliary gauges have been mounted in a pod beneath the instrument panel and display coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 96k miles.
The 350ci small-block Chevrolet 350ci V8 has been outfitted with Edelbrock valve covers and a chrome air cleaner assembly from the same brand. The drivetrain consists of a 4-speed manual and a part-time transfer case with low range.
The undercarriage has been treated with rust inhibitor as shown in the accompanying photo carousel.
The sale includes an owner’s manual.

@garagekeptmotors – I don't see any visible rust on the truck or any signs of it staring. We didn't do any restoration to the truck, it was bought in the current condition. ...
First of all the truck look amazing on the surface . I have owned 3 k5 blazers/jimmy of this same year , Would love to have them all back. The spots I pointed out have always been problem areas for these pickups and blazers. I am not trying to cause any trouble and would love to have this pickup. But with not being able are having the time to see this vehicle in person by the time the auction end makes you look at every picture very closely. If you look at the picture of the hood with it open you see the brand new hood insulation, pad, liner what ever we are calling it this week and you can see the rust in the opening a cross the front of the hood where the latch pin is. So I am just trying to verify that this is the only place like this before I place a bid.
@Jdy2008 – So how much rust was covered up by the paint respray and the new undercoating. Can you update photos to see the door jambs where the doors swing on the door hinges for both sides. You can see some rust coming through the back bottom of the drivers door, where the tail gate closes and under the bottom of the hood that did not get repainted. Thanks for info. ...
