This 1930 Ford Model A is a two-door sedan that's been with the seller for 15 years. Powered a rebuilt 201ci flathead four backed by a 3-speed manual transmission, highlights include a Mitchell gear splitter, a reupholstered interior with replaced carpeting, and a refinished exterior. Finished in two-tone green and black over a tan cloth interior, this Model A is offered with records from Encino, California.
The Ford Model A debuted for 1928 and was available in a variety of body configurations. This example from 1930 is a two-door sedan wearing two-tone paint, with green body panels offset by a black cab and black fenders. The body is reportedly rust-free and was subject to a prior restoration and repaint, as was the textured roof material. The bumpers, radiator shell, headlight surrounds, and sideview mirrors are finished in chrome and described as being in good condition. Running boards have metal step plates with the Ford logo, and a full-size spare tire is mounted at the rear.
Black 19” wire wheels are wrapped in whitewall tires.
The interior contains reupholstered beige seating with vinyl sides and patterned cloth cushions, while the door panels, headliner, and carpeting use matching materials. Transmission gear selectors are floor-mounted, and there are control levers for spark advance and throttle attached to the steering column.
Instrumentation is contained within a metal panel at the center of the dash and contains a ribbon-style speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a voltage gauge. An aftermarket coolant temperature gauge is present below the dash. The five-digit odometer reads 8k miles, but total chassis mileage is unknown.
The louvered center-hinged hood opens to reveal the rebuilt 201ci flathead inline-four which is reported to have been serviced roughly six months ago. The seller states that the drivetrain is operating well but notes the presence of an oil leak. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive thanks to a dual-range Mitchell gear splitter.

The sale includes a file of service records.
