This 1985 Chevrolet K20 Suburban shows just over 62,000 miles and spent its entire life in Arizona until the seller acquired it from the original owner in 2019. A subsequent frame-on refurbishment was carried out, which included fresh exterior paint as well as a new alternator, grille, headlights and bulbs, wheels and tires, door and window gaskets, shocks, steering damper, dash pad, headliner, and more. Powered by a 350ci small-block V8 paired with an automatic transmission, the truck comes equipped as standard with four-wheel drive, heat, power steering, and power brakes. Recent updates commissioned by the seller This seventh generation Suburban is offered with a clean CARFAX report, owner's books, maintenance records, custom car cover, a set of six tires and wheels, numerous spare parts, and a clear Illinois title in the seller's name.
The refurbishment was carried out by the Carriage House Restorations in New Lenox, Illinois, and the body was taken down to bare metal before application of a two-tone respray. Per the seller the base color is what was originally on the truck and no body work or filler was evident prior to the repaint. Exterior features include Silverado trim as denoted on the front quarters, tinted windows, stainless hardware accents, and dual exhaust exits at the rear. Recent additions include a grille, headlight bezels, headlights, and all exterior bulbs.
New American Racing 16" wheels are wrapped in new Cooper Discoverer HTP 265/75 tires, and manual-locking front hubs are equipped. Handling is managed by power steering, front discs, and rear drums, and the shocks and steering damper have been replaced. The set of six 16.5" wheels with 33"x12.5" tires that were on the vehicle at the time of the seller's purchase, two of which are unused, will be included with the sale.
The interior is trimmed in Saddle Tan cloth over front buckets and the rear bench with darker tan carpeting and vinyl panels covering the dash and doors. The seller notes a new headliner and dash pad have been installed to mirror the factory look. Four-wheel drive is engaged manually via the floor-mounted shift lever and the automatic transmission is shifted at the column. New door and window gaskets were also added as part of the refurbishment.
Instrumentation is equipped as standard with an 85-MPH speedometer showing just over 62,200 original miles on the odometer, as well as gauges for fuel, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil level. The vehicle is fitted with air conditioning front and rear and its original AM/FM radio.
Power is provided to all four wheels by a 350ci Chevrolet small-block V-8 paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive transfer case. The move to throttle body fuel injection came in 1987 leaving fuel delivery to a standard 4-barrel carburetor on this 160hp example. According to the seller, the carburetor was recently rebuilt, the alternator was replaced, and a tune-up including oil change was performed.

Owner's books, the original window sticker showing a suggested retail price of $19,592.94, the original build/shipping printout, a fabric cover, a brand new pair of 3" stainless steel side steps, miscellaneous spare parts, and more will go with the vehicle.
