Reserve Removed: 1974 Chevrolet Corvette

This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is offered for sale in East Liverpool, Ohio in factory-correct form with just over 98,000 miles of driving experience. Powered by the matching-numbers 350ci L48 V-8 and automatic transmission, the car has been refreshed inside, outside, and underneath with over $17,000 invested in restoration over the past 5 years. Equipped with air conditioning, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering column, AM/FM radio, and power brakes, the sale of this Corvette includes all receipts for work done, official documentation, a fresh oil change, and clean Ohio title in the seller's name. 

Of the ten colors offered for 1974, this example is finished in Classic White (CC: 10-910) featuring restyled front and rear urethane bumpers, removable T-top roof panels, and well-preserved trim pieces. Tinting has been applied to the side windows and all glass is reported to be clean with the exception of a small wiper blade scrape on the windshield. 

The rally wheels are new and upgraded 15" x 8" chrome OEM units and come fitted with the correct 4-prong stainless trim rings and a set of 5-year old tires with approximately 2,000 miles worth of use. During a recent service, the car's power disc brakes were inspected along with an oil change and tire rotation while handling is enhanced by and all-new suspension bushings.

The bucket seat interior is finished in Medium Saddle Tan leather and appears to be in clean condition with new carpeting installed in 2016. The original AM/FM radio is still housed in the dash and confirmed to work properly along with the air conditioning system power windows, and tilt, and telescopic steering column. 

A 3-spoke steering wheel frames the 160-MPH speedometer and 7,000-RPM tachometer while additional dials for coolant temperature, clock, oil pressure, battery voltage, and fuel level are console-mounted. The seller notes the tachometer cable is in need of replacement and that the odometer displays 98,175 original miles. 

The clamshell hood opening reveals a matching-numbers 195hp L48 350ci small-block V-8 which is bolted to an automatic transmission and still wears its original smog system components. The seller reports the drivetrain to run "great" and recently serviced the air conditioning compressor and air filter along with an oil change.
