7k-Mile 2006 Pontiac Solstice Convertible 5-Speed

This 2006 Pontiac Solstice is finished in red over black leather and is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Located in Arizona since it was purchased new from Quebedeaux Pontiac in Tuscon, it belonged to its original owner for 13 years before being acquired by the seller. Equipment includes a retractable soft top and dealer-installed chrome wheels. This Solstice is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is painted Victory Red (74) and is equipped with a retractable black convertible soft top.  The seller indicates that there has been no prior paint or bodywork performed.  The car was outfitted with a paint protection package, window tint, and door-edge protection guards when new.

Dealer-installed chrome 18” wheels were added when new and the tires were replaced in December 2019 according to the seller, they are Goodyear Eagle RS-A's sized at 245/45-18 at all four corners. These wheels are the same style featured on the show car when the model was first revealed. Four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes are standard on this model.

The interior is fitted with black carpeting and matching black leather seats with the dash panel accented in silver.  The factory radio head unit is fitted which includes a 6-disc CD changer and auxiliary input. Additional features include leather bucket seats, power windows and locks, and power-adjustable side mirrors.

Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer.  The digital odometer reads 7.8k miles, of which about 150 have been added by the seller who acquired the vehicle within the last year. The 3-spoke steering wheel features controls for the stereo system, cruise control, and cluster information display.

The naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter Ecotec LE5 inline-four engine was factory rated at 177 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque when new. The transmission is a 5-speed Aisin AR5 manual.  The seller indicates that an oil change and a 75-point inspection were carried out in July 2020.  According to the CARFAX report, there was also a service appointment involving the replacement of a turn signal switch in September 2019.

The supplemental window sticker for this Solstice reflected an MSRP of $25,020, $2,892 in dealer added equipment, and a $2,500 market adjustment, adding up to a list price of $30,412 when new.  The CARFAX shows no accidents or damage reports but reflects an outstanding manufacturer safety recall from 2017 on the passenger presence system (PPS).  The report also demonstrates compliance with Arizona emissions testing.
