Vehicle Story

This 1981 Chevrolet Corvette coupe has covered 37,134 miles since new and comes with removable glass T-top roof panels, documentation back to the 1980s, and an Edelbrock intake. The numbers-matching 350ci V8 is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and traction comes a set of Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Finished in Beige over a Brown vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is now offered with a CARFAX report, extensive service records dating back to the 1980s, and a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.

First launching in 1968, the C3 experienced a variety of updates leading into its final years, and 1981 was the final year for the manual transmission of that generation. This example is painted Beige (59L) and is described as wearing its original exterior finishes aside from the front and rear bumpers which were resprayed. The seller states that this is a three-owner car, and exterior features include pop-up headlamps, removable glass T-tops, a ducktail spoiler, and a dual exhaust system that uses Super Turbo mufflers.

Factory 15” aluminum wheels are wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised-white-letter tires.

The interior is fitted with Brown (642) fold-forward vinyl bucket seats with a matching console, door panels, and dash. Amenities include power windows, air conditioning, and a radio.

Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges in the center stack for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 37,134 miles, which the seller states is an actual reading.

The 350ci V8 features a chrome-finished air cleaner, an Edelbrock intake, performance heads, and upgraded components for the timing chain, water pump, and radiator. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.

The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage and Pennsylvania ownership through at least 2018. The sale includes a binder of service records dating back nearly 40 years, as well as previously removed original parts.

@Kaz197 – If someone wins the auction ( how much time do you have before you have to pick up the car ? ) ...

Good Afternoon, We typically ask for the vehicle to be paid within 2-3 days and picked up as soon as possible. We have many cars coming in. But if special arrangements need to be made we can certainly try to accommodate yo as best as possible.
