This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired by the seller in 2015, shortly after the completion of a body-off restoration, and has since been kept in a climate-controlled storage facility with minimal usage. Power comes from a non-original 350ci V8 mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and the car comes with both hard and soft tops and a "Power Blister" big block-style hood. Standard equipment includes bucket seating, heater/defroster, seat belts, and a tachometer while optional items consist of power steering, power brakes, leather upholstery, and an AM/FM radio. This C2 Corvette is now offered with a clear Florida title in the seller's name.
Of the 14,925 convertible Corvettes produced in 1964, 3,454 were finished in Daytona Blue (916) as shown on this restored example. The exterior features a "Power Blister" style big block hood, not originally available for the 1964 model year, as well as dual exhaust exits through the rear bodywork, chrome bumpers and trim pieces, and a black convertible top. The auxiliary hardtop and additional big block-style hood will be included in the sale.
Power brakes and power steering are equipped behind a set of standard rally wheels wrapped in black-walled Uniroyal tires.
The interior is finished in blue throughout with stainless hardware accents and optional leather upholstery over bucket seating. Equipment includes manual cranking windows and the factory AM/FM radio which is updated with a Bluetooth module and Alpine power pack.
A 3-spoke wooden steering wheel frames the instrument cluster which comes fitted with dials for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, a 160-mph speedometer, and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
A 350ci small-block V8 has replaced the factory unit and is paired with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is dressed with a chrome air cleaner, late model center-bolt valve covers, an Accel HEI distributor, and correct ram horn style exhaust manifolds.
Additional photos of the underside can be found in the gallery.

@Pairborne – Was the engine replacement a crate motor? And if not was it a newly rebuilt motor at the time it was put in? When was that? Thanks so much Pairborne ...
I was told when purchased it was a rebilt engine. Build sheet was not given.

@Pairborne – Where is the air conditioning? Where is the power steering pump Thank you Pairborne ...
The power steering is bottom front, not visible from pictures. The airconditioning is a typo. It will be removed on Monday.
