This 1999 Jeep Cherokee SE 2-door was sold new in California and resided there until the seller's purchase in 2017. Equipment includes air conditioning, heat, an aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, power steering, power brakes, a roof rack, and more. The truck was converted to four-wheel drive under prior ownership and it now sits on a 4" suspension lift. This XJ is offered with a clean Tennessee title in the seller's name.
Finished in Desert Sand Pearl (CC: TD/WTD) with black accented fender flares, bumpers, grille, and trim, the Jeep's two-door exterior sports the characteristic 7-slot grille, an aftermarket roof rack, and tow hitch. A rear-end collision is noted to have occurred in 2018 which reportedly resulted in damage to the rear suspension, and per the seller, a 4" suspension lift was installed during the repair process.
Goodyear Wrangler tires are fitted over black aftermarket wagon-style wheels. The vehicle was sold with two-wheel drive, but the prior owner converted it to four-wheel drive. The seller reports that driveshaft geometry has been fine-tuned to accommodate the 4" lift and states that the truck tracks straight.
The interior is trimmed in gray and black cloth upholstery with gray carpeting. Amenities include cold-blowing air conditioning and an aftermarket "Retrosound" Bluetooth stereo head unit which mimics the factory look, and safety equipment consists of dual front airbags and seatbelts.
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer, a gauge for fuel level, and notification lights for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel door. The odometer shows 99,920 miles, which the seller asserts is the original mileage.
A 4.0-liter fuel-injected inline-six is mated to a 4-speed AW-4 automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case installed under prior ownership. Oil changes are reported to have been performed every 5,000 miles with a half synthetic while under regular dealership maintenance. The original California emissions package is equipped and the seller confirms the vehicle passes emissions testing without issue.
The underbody is described as being free of rust.

Hello everyone! Thanks for all of the bidding so far. We have about three hours to go. I am here to answer any questions you may have about this Jeep XJ. Also, I want you to know that this truck has been my daily driver for the past four years or so. I've averaged about 12,000 miles per year. Everything is properly lubed and functioning. There are no pet or smoke odors. It's been a great vehicle for turning heads on the way to the office in Nashville and for taking the family hiking in rural Tennessee. I am only selling because I have graduated into a more executive role at work.
