This 1972 Honda CT-70 minibike has been driven only two miles since the completion of a mechanical and cosmetic restoration and features folding handlebars, factory-correct decals, and a reupholstered saddle. Power comes from a 72cc 4-stroke motor mated to a 3-speed semi-automatic transmission. Finished in Candy Yellow with chrome fenders and black vinyl saddle, this CT-70 is now offered with a Bill of Sale.
The ST-70 Series of Honda minibikes were badged as CT-70 models when exported from Japan to North America between 1969 and 1981. This CT-70 from 1972 rides on a T-bone frame and was refinished in Candy Yellow and fitted with factory-correct black, white, and blue Honda decals on the frame and chrome-finished fenders and twist-lock folding handlebars.
Silver-painted 10” steel wheels are mounted to replacement knobby tires. The covered-fork suspension has been upgraded with chrome shocks up front and a chain guard out back, and braking is handled by drum brakes which are controlled by a left hand lever and a right foot pedal.
The saddle has been reupholstered in black vinyl and covers the .66-gallon fuel tank.
Instrumentation is provided by a 50-mph speedometer. The four-digit mechanical odometer reads fewer than 2 miles, which reflects mileage driven since completion of the restoration. True mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 72cc 4-stroke features a kickstarter, and power is sent to the rear wheels via a 3-speed semi-automatic transmission and a chain.
