OVERVIEW
This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette convertible benefits from nearly $20K in improvements over the last two years including new Coker wide whitewall tires and work to the brakes, fluids, gaskets, and battery. It is powered by an upgraded 350ci V8 paired with a 3-speed Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Finished in Polo White with a black canvas retractable top over a red vinyl interior, this C1 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a car cover, removable side windows, a window storage bag, the uninstalled original radio, and a clear Florida title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Corvette’s fiberglass body is coated in Polo White with a contrasting black canvas soft top. Exterior features include mesh headlight covers, chrome brightwork, beltline moldings, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with covers are wrapped in new Coker Classic 205/75-sized wide whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit is optioned with red vinyl buckets, matched to the upper dash, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a radio, floor mats, lap belts, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a vinyl trunk liner.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation entails a central 140-mph speedometer along with auxiliary VDO-branded gauges across the face of the dash with a 7K-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and readouts for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads about 6K miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The upgraded 350ci V8 received recent work to the fluids, gaskets, and battery within the last two years per the selling dealer. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 3-speed Turbo 400 automatic transmission.
