OVERVIEW

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 55,821 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 289ci V8 engine and backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake, a four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, a chrome air cleaner, an HEI distributor, a chrome shock tower brace, and an aluminum radiator.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Mustang was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Power front discs and rear drums bring the car to a stop.
