This original-owner 1998 BMW Z3 roadster is finished in Bright Red with a black cloth retractable top and is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car was purchased new by the seller in Tennessee and was shortly after relocated to Alabama, where it has resided since. Equipment includes a red leather interior, heated seats, and Harmon Kardon stereo. This Z3 shows approximately 82k miles and is now offered with a CARFAX report on a clean Alabama title in the seller’s name.
The vehicle is finished in Bright Red (Code 314) and has a powered black convertible top. The body is free of rust, and it features fender vents in the fenders and factory fog lamps in the bumper. A black rollbar is equipped behind the seats and a single exhaust with dual tips is exits under the rear bumper.
Factory 5-spoke silver 16” aluminum wheels are mounted to 225/50 tires on all four corners. The car is equipped with independent suspension and disc brakes.
The interior is fitted with black carpeting and floor mats, along with red leather bucket seats. The dash and console are trimmed in gloss woodgrain, and select portions are upholstered in matching red leather over the instrument cluster and passenger side. The vehicle is equipped with power windows as well as air conditioning, cruise control, heated seats, and a factory Harmon Kardon AM/FM/cassette audio system. A keyless entry system is also equipped with spare fobs included.
Instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 82k miles, which are original to the vehicle.
The 2.8-liter M52 inline-6 is original to the vehicle and was factory-rated at 189 horsepower. The CARFAX report shows an oil and filter change in May 2018 in Panama City Beach, Florida. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission with a console-mounted shift lever.
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record. The sale includes the car’s original books and manuals, along with three sets of keys, a boot for the convertible top, and the original tool kit.

YES,. I HAVE SOME RECORDS OF OIL CHANGES AND TIRE REPLACEMENTS. MOST OF THE SERVICE WAS DONE A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND OTHER SERVIES LIKE BRAKES. SYNTHETIC OIL WAS USE FROM DAY ONE.
Are there any mechanical problems ? When did it receive brake job last ?
The Carfax shows three service is in 22 years 82000 + miles. Is there an explanation? Do you have maintenance receipts to fill in those years and miles?
