OVERVIEW
This 1958 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe was repainted in its original color and draws power from a 348ci V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes dual antennas, chrome brightwork, a radio, power steering and brakes, and whitewall tires. Finished in Onyx Black over a tri-tone vinyl and cloth interior, this first-year Impala is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body has been refinished in the original color of Onyx Black (paint code 900). Features include quad headlights, chrome brightwork, dual antennas, and a dual exhaust system. The selling dealer reports the glass is free of stars and cracks.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 14-inch wheels with hubcaps and knock-off-style center caps are wrapped in whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin offers dual vinyl tri-color bench seats upholstered in a combination of black, white, and turquoise vinyl and cloth (trim code 806). That color scheme is carried through to the door panels and dash. Features include a push-button radio and a clock.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer tracks accrued mileage. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 348ci V8 is fed by a four-barrel carburetor and directs power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Steering and braking are power-assisted.

I just noticed that @KnightlyKicker changed his mind on his bid. So dose that mean that @ MikeAAA50 is now the winner of this fine automobile? He should be winner. If hadn't been for bidders that have had a change of mind he would have been the winner. Congratulations @MikeAAA50

@Affordable – Fuel gauge is working yes. ...
So just to be clear, all the gauges and interior and exterior lights work? Also, someone previously asked who did the restoration but I don't see a reply to that. Beautiful car, I just want to be sure if I bid and win that there aren't any surprises. Thanks
@Cruzahome – Do all the gauges work? I notice the fuel gauge appears to be stuck on empty. Thanks ...
We have now uploaded a photo of the gauge cluster with the working fuel gauge. It can be found at the end of the additional photo carousel.
